This Elm Lake herd sire, the Top Selling Bull at the 2005 Central Texas Beefmaster Breeders "Beef On Forage" Bull Sale, is out of the ultimate Production Sire - L Bar 5502. Top Gun's statistics look a lot like those of his Sire.

He is a bull with extraordinary muscle, a very good sheath, of moderate frame, broad body with excellent depth. His conformation is only rivaled by his incredible performance at the Beef On Forage Bull Test. Having low birth weight calves, he is a great bull for first calf heifers. This is definitely a Bull that will add weaning weight to your calves. And, with a 17.0 Rib Eye area his is considered a herd changer. Just as the cattleman who have seen him in person think, we have seen great calves from this bull.

Top Gun is has three calf crops on the ground. We have found him to tighten underlines, add muscle and weights to every calf, produce approximately 60% red calfs, and have easy birthing calves even with 1st calf heifers. This bull is a definitely a Cattleman's Bull!
